About the Phile

Born out of late night kitchen experimentation, Top Chef marathons, the oppressive cafeteria lunches of Catholic high school, and too many baked goods to count, FOOD-A-PHILE is a joint project by a couple of foodies to catalog and share everything there is to love about food -- from anecdotal recipes to notes on our favorite restaurants.


When she's not crunching numbers or kneading dough, Caroline finds herself on top of a horse, on a long run, or on a a tireless quest to find the perfect cabernet sauvignon.



A diehard Texan currently eating her way through New York City, Kate considers a good margarita (on the rocks, with salt) among the finer things in life.
